This house is constructed with the #1 Yellow pine lumber which is durable and harder than the cedar lumbers thas some use.  As with all woods it should be painted with an exterior coat of light colored paint to reflect the rays of the sun.  It is assembled with rust resistand decking screws for strength and durability.  It has an opening of 1 1/8 inch which will exclude all but the smaller birds.  The front panel swings down for easy cleaning and inspection.
